We read on instagram that people all over the world have been observing the movement of the moon in the night sky for thousands of years and even organise their time and traditions around it. It's not for nothing that we divide our year into mo(o)nts: The earth orbits the sun and the moon orbits the earth in about 29 days with each moon phase. That makes perfect sense.
Just as the moon takes time to recover, renew, shine and retreat, so do we. So the more we attune ourselves to the individual phases of the moon, the better we can utilise the moon's powers in our everyday lives, according to the consensus of ‘expert’ opinions on the internet.
